Research
My work addresses taxonomic and floristic studies of vascular plants, especially systematics of New World Cleomaceae and flora of Wisconsin, to a lesser extent taxonomy of north-temperate Cyperaceae and flora of Jalisco and Colima, Mexico.
By volunteering at the UW-Madison Herbarium, I can help maintain historical context (e.g., regarding past acquisitions and institutional and personal relations), mentor volunteers and student helpers (e.g., through hands-on practice), process collections, and sustain the legacy of institutional and personal research production.
