I study ecology and evolution using both theoretical and experimental approaches. My two main research projects involve the ecological-evolutionary dynamics of pea aphids and their parasitoids, and the population and ecosystem dynamics of midges in Lake Mývatn, Iceland. But projects in my lab expand well beyond these two main study systems as lab members pursue interesting research pathways.
