Research
The Pringle laboratory focuses on fungi, organisms whose biology seem very different from our own. Fungi encompass an astonishing biodiversity of mushrooms, molds, and other species, and the Pringle laboratory uses them as tools to test and elucidate general principles of ecology and evolution. We are increasingly focused on the problems of conserving fungi.
